July 3, 1966 - John Lennon photographed by Robert Whitaker on The Beatles’ flight from Tokyo to Hong Kong.
“The Beatles had different ways to amuse themselves during long journeys. They would read, play games or mess about with Ringo’s tape recorder. When John wasn’t buried in a book he would often write or doodle. This time I was intrigued by what he was drawing. I looked over his shoulder and to my amusement he was defacing a picture of the group.” - Robert Whitaker

if i ever met paul i’d remain really shy and composed right up until i got up in front of him and then i’d just collapse at his feet sobbing and i’d just reach up and try to punch him in his stupid chubby lil tummy while crying “n o no non o no no no no no no”

One thing that I don’t ever see in the Beatles fandom is pictures posted of Brian Epstein, which to me is really disappointing since all of us fans know what he did, he made The Beatles famous! He saw them and took a chance, not knowing if his luck was going to fail or not.
He was the fire that lit the firework.

“There are only four people who knew what the Beatles were about anyway.”
